It’s essential to include social media buttons on your posts that are noticeable, so readers can share what they’ve read on their social networks. As much as you can, include a question or thought-provoking comment at the end of your blog article to get the discussion going. One more thing – be sure to respond to reader comments!
Toot your own horn!
Not many people will accidentally stumble across your blog posts if you simply post and let them sit there. Share across your social media networks, send your latest blog to those on your mailing list, even include links to your latest post in your email signature (and have staff members do the same). There are many ways to get your blog in front of lots of eyes.
Include a call-to-action at the end of your post.
What better time to ask readers to sign up for your newsletter, download even more helpful information, even write a review or register for a free trial of your product/service? Once you’ve established credibility and trust with readers, it’s the perfect time to have them take the action you want!
